MLM Truths You Can’t Ignore

We often hear false statements by naysayers about Multi Level Marketing or MLM business. Among these are that MLM’s are “Product based Pyramid Schemes” and “MLM’s are likely to be fraudulent and technically illegal”. Time and again, we have had to explain to new prospects why our business is not a Pyramid Scheme and how it is absolutely legal. It’s annoying when they question our legitimacy. There will always be challenges to a successful venture, and indeed there is no question about the success of the MLM phenomena.

Whatever the falsehoods mentioned about MLM, there are truths you simply cannot ignore. Nothing can hide the fact that there are a lot of terrific things about the Network Marketing business, let’s check out a few:

1. You can choose to do the business part time or practice it as a full time endeavor. Whether you need a source of extra income or a full time business opportunity with a topnotch profit potential, MLM is the way to go.

2. Freedom is always sweet. Are there other business platforms that allow you to decide how much and how often you work? When you have a dynamic down line, you can even opt to stop working altogether while watching the profits come in.

3. MLM is relatively cheap. Getting your MLM venture started will not break your bank account and the earning potential of network marketing is limitless.

One good thing about this business is the flexibility it gives you in choosing who to work with. You can ignore the quitters, the ones who leave the business for one reason or another. The prospects who stay with you are your kind of people – dynamic, extremely committed people with the motivation to achieve ultimate success in the MLM industry.

Multilevel marketing gives beginners the chance to make real money. In MLM, there is no rule that says only experienced industry veterans can seize the field. Some people just prove to be naturals in exercising the system of multi level marketing. Many new recruits just seem to explode into the industry and that is a fact.

MLM gives you the chance to act out the role of leader. The people you recruit are your charges and helping them develop into leaders themselves is one of your top priorities. MLM is about connecting with people. What initially starts as a business arrangement will flourish into deeper relationships as you go hand in hand to build your dreams.

Blogging your Way to a Fortune

A blog is an online personal journal that usually contains posts, audio, video’s and web links to other preferred sites. Blogs are about individual day to day experiences. There are also “service oriented” blogs providing the blogging public with a broad spectrum of diverse topics ranging from the occult to technology. Simply put, there is a blog for every area of human interest.

Currently, every manner of blogging is practiced by a multitude of online users worldwide. It has achieved such an extensive penetration of the Internet public’s consciousness, that blogging is now being exploited by business operators as a medium to connect with their particular market niches and make profit for their respective endeavors. In fact, one of the common questions of bloggers at present is how to translate their numerous viewers into “customers”.

If you are serious in making money out of your blog, the first thing to do is to make sure the site you use is easy to access. People will not wait for a page that takes forever to download. For easy navigation, page consistency is important and your contact details should be evident.

Make certain that you have strong “headers”, so as to capture the interest of your guests and convince them to read more. Provide the answers to their troubles. Put yourself in their shoes by acknowledging their troubles then providing the solution they need. Once you understand the difficulty your visitors encountered, revise your blog to address those needs.

With the current state of the economy, people will be looking for some sort of “life raft” to cling to. If your blog is about an MLM opportunity, there’s no better time for your blog site and business to prosper.

Online users scour the Internet for information. Having a number of articles on your blog can generate a lot of leads for your business. Encourage the viewers of your blog to post their comments and to address their queries and replies to you personally. Testimonials and assurances can have an enormous effect on your level of sales. Aside from giving you additional leads, you also get the reactions you need on what the majority of your prospects really require or wish for. The common methods used are broadcasting the testimonials of satisfied prospects, a privacy statement and a strong guarantee. On the web, a crucial precedence is to build credibility.

As children, our young, fertile and hungry minds never seem to go to sleep, and we constantly learn new things. As we progress through life, everything becomes routine. The events, the accomplishments, and the very tempo of our existence becomes so monotonous that it seems to dull our appetite for learning. For most of us enjoying this sedate stage of our lives, the challenges that we used to welcome are rejected due to the fear of doing badly. Learning is indispensable to one’s personal improvement. We seem to have forgotten that failure and disappointment are part of the learning process AND that this process is constant. We have to reflect on the process and learn how to learn in order to achieve success, which is also constant.

Doing this will not be difficult if we follow a few principles:

1. You can learn anything if you have a specific objective. This goal will motivate your momentum in learning. Trying to learn something under external pressure usually does not bear any productive results. You should generate a desire and reflect on the rationale of your learning. Remember that learning more implies making more; everything you learn can be transformed into success as a consequence.

2. A rationally structured documentation of information will help you learn faster by increasing the effectiveness of your memorization process.

3. Isolate the important points of new data. Highlight or underline the major points and add concise summarization.

4. Take a break. You should always blend work and rest. Usually food and a brief change of scenery would do. A short exercise regimen could also be added.

5. Learn how to put your thoughts in writing. The objective is to state and organize the fundamental pieces of information eloquently and articulately on a computer monitor or a piece of paper.

6. Learn the basics of time management, so as to carry out all your work within a prescribed period and to avoid time wastage. Prioritize each and every available task and disperse the work in a balanced manner. Time allocation should be in accordance with the amount of work that needs to be accomplished. Do not procrastinate in completing even the minor tasks.

7. A relaxed mind works more efficiently. Focus should be entirely at the work at hand during your learning periods. A systematic workspace helps to reduce distractions. Reward yourself after completing learning tasks.

Do not be afraid to take risks. Always remember that experimentation with different procedures and initial failure in these tests are all part of the process of learning. People who learn and do it incessantly over their lifetime do generally much better than those who pause on accomplishments.

If you can do these things, success will always be yours in all endeavors. We live in a fast changing world, where learning new methods is necessary at an increasing pace.

The spirit is willing but the network marketing skills are weak. Let’s face it – not everyone is meant to be successful in the network marketing business. While some are destined to be network marketing moguls, most are better off enjoying their God given abilities as doctors, lawyers, teachers…….etc. There can be no fault in finding one’s rightful place. Simply put, “….ye old round peg for ye old round hole…”.

There is a difference between possessing entrepreneurial attributes, and thinking that you have these aforementioned qualities. There are thousands of self-made millionaires due to the network marketing phenomenon, but MLM statistics would never show the vastly larger number of washouts. Hot promises of being able to easily duplicate an “up-line’s” success exploded in their faces. For this multitude, the presumed quick-buck networking concept turned out to be a bomb. For people who want to join the MLM / network marketing bandwagon, it would be prudent to carefully assess the traits and capabilities they actually possess. There are a great number of advantages to being an owner of an MLM / network marketing business, but this means nothing to a person without the prescribed abilities.

So what are the suggested qualities that should be pre-existent in a budding network marketer to be successful? Let’s list down 7 of the most recommended ones:

1. The DESIRE to study and gain intimate knowledge of the business.
Mastering the intricacies of the network marketing business is a main prerequisite to success in this home based business. Aside from the proper marketing methods, a substantial amount of time and a sizable investment of money must be spent willingly by a successful network marketer to learn the best methods to promote his business.

2. The RESOLVE to sustain the sacrifices you make.
It’s already a given that certain sacrifices have to be made. The problem mostly lies in sustaining them for a time. A LONG TIME for many network marketers. One of the favorite releases in MLM propaganda is that you’ll have more time to do the things you enjoy – sports, television, nights out with your buddies,…etc. This is true, ONLY when you are already raking in some REAL money, and “working your business” means helping out some down-lines from time to time. What the standard party line does not say is that you would hardly have time for extracurricular activities since you’d mostly be listing down, hunting, calling or approaching prospects. And there’s also the marketing strategy that you have to develop tailored to your prospects personalities. No, MLM does not make a person dull, but working on your success strategy would entail a lot of sacrifices, especially in the initial stages of building your business.

3. Stoicism in the face of Criticism.
The most severe criticism usually comes from the people closest to you. If you are easily affected by these alleged “words of wisdom for your own good”, and allow your will to falter then you will never succeed.

4. Stoicism in the face of Rejection.
There are methods to reduce sales rejection considerably but nothing, of course, is foolproof. Hearing the word NO, most of the time should not affect your focus or confidence. It is important that a prospect sense self-assurance, rather than the insecurity of someone expecting a negative.

5. Being a People Person.
MLM = Multi-Level –Marketing. Multiple levels of people. Pure and simple – If you can’t communicate or talk to people, you fail.

6. Decisiveness.
To be a successful internet network marketer, you have to be used to making decisions. Indecisiveness will lead your home business to stagnation. Whether a good or bad decision, every business move requires one. Nobody can do it for you. Your business. Your responsibility. Your decision.

7. Having Effective Problem Solving Skills.
It’s like taking the role of a father / mother. Daddy/Mommy takes care of things. Your down-lines would expect it of you. Problems would come and you, as an up-line would be assumed to be the best equipped to deal with it. Identifying a problem then finding solutions to address it should be second nature to a successful MLM / Network marketer.

Finally, I want you to know that ALL of these qualities can be learned by someone with the true desire to succeed.

Leadership – Can it be Learned?

What is leadership? A simple explanation would be leadership is the influence that drives individuals into groups to effect improvement, whether for personal, for their endeavors, or for universal benefit.

Leadership, like all abilities, can be taught. There is no shortage in educational data and programs. The real question is – can it be learned? There are no clear answers. As one of the least durable and most insufficient elements of human capital, leadership is not learned easily or well.

Human history has focused our attention solely on the concepts advocated, the actions taken, and the conclusions engendered by people in positions of power. Today, impressions and judgment of leadership are more egalitarian.

Leadership itself is a mutual task; the leader and the led are observed as in a potentially cooperative relationship. And authority and impression are a function of that relationship rather than of a status.

To a great extent, leadership education is devoted to teaching methods. Much of what is instructed is, in fact, management and not leadership. It is completely possible to learn and even practice what is inculcated in management and still be unsuccessful at being a good leader. The necessary mechanisms of leadership – intelligence, insight, instinct, vision, communication, discipline, courage, constancy – have remained constant.

Everything can be studied repeatedly. However, the capability to excel in leadership doctrines and customs does not mean that one has learned leadership. The curriculum does not necessarily help candidates learn the fundamentals. Comprehending is quite different from performing.

The focal point of a course on leadership should be on helping aspirants develop the human characteristics and aptitude required for leading in practically any undertaking. These characteristics should form the base requirements of what leadership candidates should possess. Let’s identify the most crucial of these abilities:

  • First and foremost, should be the capacity to think – Leaders must know how to collect and organize data, and then associate it in manner to generate intelligence. Nowadays, it is easy to confuse being informed with being intelligent.
  • The ability to see – Leadership necessitates vision. Forming a vision requires the ability to see. To be able to look back and see clearly what has transpired. To look around and see what is presently happening. To look to the future and see what trials there are to confront.
  • The ability to listen – everyone can hear but how many really pay attention. A good many only listen to themselves. A leader’s mind should be attuned to his ears. Listening to the voice of history in order to learn past mistakes and triumphs is as important as listening to today’s infinite concerns. His senses must also penetrate the ominous silence foretelling the future.
  • Ability to speak- The defining faculty in leadership is undeniably communication. Information, unity, motivation and direction – critical areas of organization – depend on it. The potentials of information and persuasion in winning the battles for hearts and minds are indisputable.
  • Endurance- Physical, mental and moral fortitude are indispensable in carrying the burden of leadership through a long and hard journey.
